Dance the night away with the most eclectic mix of multicultural locals and tourist at Star Dust Nightclub, Malindi

Malindi has a fabulous mix of places to go out catering for quiet intimate drinks or big boozy parties. There are casual bars with live local music and dance acts, laid back outdoor reggae bars or beer gardens, posh resturants with nice bars or lounges (mostly tourists), or loud and sweaty nightclubs frequented by locals and toursits alike. The Malindi hotspots tend to change month to month, the best thing to is to ask around once you arrive where to go.

One place however that seems to always be popular is the lively Star Dust Nightclub, pictured. As modern as any Western style nightclub, but the atmosphere, with the eclectic mix of party goers, it electric and unique. Plays all the latest western and african dance tunes, with ground level and raised stage dance floor, and very comfy semi circular lounges raised above ground level which is great if you just want to sip on a drink and watch the party. Picks up around 11pm, especially on weekends. Tuk Tuks and Taxis hang around the entrance so you will have no worries getting a ride home.
