Horse Riders explore the Malindi forest
	Our horses love to play on the Malindi beach

Our Bahari Stables are home to our highly trained horses. The horses are allowed to graze and play within the our hotel grounds under the watchful eyes of the highly trained staff who handle them. For the recently converted, there is a launch where you can be trained under the supervision of our highly qualified staff. For the seasoned horseman or woman, you can take a ride within our natural tropical forest or on to the beach and away on either side. Turn right and you head towards the Pier and the Vasco Da Gama Pillar. Turn left and proceed to the Sabaki River Estuary. Be sure to book early for your trip. Depending on the weather, and for the safety of the animals, the rides are conducted in the morning and late afternoon. The reception and or the stables will assist you with all the information you need.

Meet the Horses

Gideone is a very healthy horse. He is 20 years old and excellent for beginners.

Margareta is 15 years old. She too is excellent for beginners.

Mini Max is also 15 years old. She loves to waddle in the ocean. Excellent for those in the intermediate stage of learning.

Alexander 14 years old. What a character. He survived an attack by a cobra that destroyed his left eye. A strong and playful horse, he is an all rounder.

Ariana is 10 years old. She is an excellent and restless horse. A favourite for the experienced rider, she is in very high demand.

Rafiki is 18 years old. He is an excellent horse. He is exceptionally dependable horse build for strength and surprisingly gentle.

Burterscotch is 15 years old. Another excellent horse for beginners. He is especially popular with children.

Eco is 15 years old. He is an excellent horse for beginners. He is also very popular with children.
